The 90’s Slip Dress

The 90’s come back is getting stronger and stronger in our wardrobe. We already got the bike shorts (see post here), the bum bag, the combat boots and inevitably the most timeless item: the slip dress.

Made popular by the minimalist designer: Calvin Klein, the slip dress is a versatile closet staple. In 2016, the slip dress already made its come back and was layered over a tee and worn with white sneakers. However, in 2019, the slip dress is back in its minimal version: a long satin silk slip dress paired with sandals.

I wore this slip dress from Dorothee Schumacher non stop this summer! It is effortlessly elegant, and the fit is very flattering. I paired it with the pleated bucket bag from Mansur Gavriel and these minimal white sandals from Reformation.
