The trend: The little-draped dress

During Fall – Winter 2018 fashion week, the draped dress was seen on many fashion shows (such as Kenzo, Isabel Marant, Saint Laurent, Jacquemus, etc.). I am super excited about this trend as it really elevates the silhouette for a sophisticated and cool look.

The Athènes Draped Dress – Review of Svetlana K Paris

The Athenes dress comes in dark blue or red. I ordered it in red, as this color is absolutely on trend and it is very sophisticated. For spring and summer, I love to mix red with white color and/or with a touch of gingham. For fall-winter, I prefer to mix red with black or grey colors.

I love the drape of this dress and the designer was very careful with details. Also, the fabric is of high quality. Indeed, the dress is made of 100% silk and the linen is 100% of cotton.

Regarding the sizing, the size 1 is like a size small (US 4, EUR 36). I am usually a size EUR 34 (I am a petite), so I like to add a belt to get a more fitted dress.

I discovered Svetlana K Paris, a newly launched Parisian chic label, on Instagram. I love the story of the founder: Svetlana. She is a Russian designer who was in love with Paris and decided to move to this city and start her own label. The Svetlana K collection is clearly inspired by Paris with a Russian twist (check out her beautiful scarves). And, the result is very elegant and timeless.
