Fall Winter 2020 2021 Fashion Week Coverage: Discover the 15 biggest Fall 2020 fashion trends from New York, London, Milan, and Paris fashion weeks.
This season, many designers went gender fluid on the runway (Versace, Bottega Veneta, Eckhaus Latta, etc.). The collections mix and match elements from a man and woman wardrobe on repeat. Like last season, a minimal monochrome look is still on trend for Fall 2020. However, the silhouettes are also bolder using artifacts and embellishments to create more volume. Check out below the trends which have taken over New York, London, Milan, and Paris runways by storm: shaggy coats, patchwork leathers, luster fabrics, plastrons, statement fringes, bold sleeves, etc.

Luster
Use and mix a luster fabric to a more formal outfit.
Plastron

Fringe
Regarding fringes, the bolder, the shaggier, the better.
Feather
Feather embellishments will create a powerful silhouette by adding volume.
Minimal silver
Create some contrasts in a minimal silhouette by mixing a silver metallic fabric to neutral tones.
Tie Front
No need to add a belt, Designers found a new way to cinch our waist by adding some fabric surplus.

Shaggy coats and patchwork leathers will resurrect the 70s’ spirit.

Patchwork leather
Cape with gloves
Gloves are back and are paired with a cape for a refined look.
Skirt suit
Although trouser suits are still a favorite of women’s fall wardrobe, luxury fashion houses also reimagine the classic combination: skirt/blazer.
Side cut-out
Subtle and revealing, the sexy chic side cut-out trend is taking over the runway.
Sexy shoulders
To be on trend this Fall season, find an interesting way to reveal your shoulders instead of your neckline.
Bold sleeves
Oversizeshoulders, balloon sleeves: they are many ways to accentuate the upper part of your outfits to create a bold silhouette.
Harness
Add a harness to a feminine and chic silhouette for an edgy effect.
Fall monochrome – Fall 2020 Fashion Week coverage
Beige, brown, and neutral hues are still the designers’ favorite shades. This season we also saw more eggplant and blue monochromes.

Waffle / Quilted
The cozy quilted trend which took the runway by storm last year is back in force for Fall 2020 with a more stylistic approach.

Wow, that luster suit! Crazy… but crazy cool. I don’t have a lot of these trends currently. I am kinda digging the harness thing ha! Though I don’t see how it would fit into my daily life…but still, fun to see!
Wow! So many unique trends coming up.
So many cool unique textures, especially that luster look! I noticed bold sleeves are already having a moment so it’s cool to see that trend continue into fall.
I love fringe so much! You have such a great roundup of looks – so fashionable!
Okay the skirt suit is right up my alley!! So many fun trends coming out.

WOW that liquid Balmain suit is amazing! I would love to wear it
You are the runway style QUEEN. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to appreciate what’s on the catwalk as much as some do, because I have a hard time seeing how it will translate to “everyday” wear, but it’s still so cool to see all the different textures, shapes, and palettes!
You always do such great roundups – I love your fashion week coverage!
Loving all these runway trends! I would have to say the tie front style is a fave as well as fringe.
Really loving the tie front and the feathers
Thank you for rounding all of these up! what a great overview of the trends for this coming season! Some of the earlier ones mentioned are a modern take on the trends of the early 2000s. I love a cold and bold shoulder and don’t think it ever really leaves, for me anyway!
Such cool trends to look forward to. Fall fashion is my favorite as well as my favorite season of the year. Loving the fringe look.
I’m always about a tie front! Great list!
I love the metallics and I think I’m going to have to get a cape!
I can never get enough Fall Fashion. The mix of feminine silhouettes with the menswear-inspired masculine pairings this season are complete perfection.
Wow! All of these outfits are so beautiful. I love liquid Balmain suit.
