There’s something wonderfully instinctive about the season ahead. Fashion is embracing the wild, the tactile and the unapologetic glamorous; and if there’s one rule tying it all together, it’s texture.
Golden Brown: The Lion King Effect

Miu Miu, Altuzarra, Fforme, Bottega Veneta
Think of the golden-brown palette of a lion’s coat: warm, rich, and effortlessly luxurious. It’s the perfect shade for fur, suede, shearing and textured knits, especially when paired with other earthy neutrals.
The result is powerful without trying too hard, very Lion King, but make it fashion.
Tactile Wild Cat

Fendi, Celine, Balmain, Ermanno Scervino
Animal prints are still going strong, so it’s no surprise that wild cats are having another major fashion moment. Leopard, tiger and other feline patterns feel especially current when they come with an added tactile element.
Think printed fur, fuzzy hair, embellishment or raised textures. The print is no longer simply something you see; it’s something you can almost feel.
And if you want to try something a little less expected? Peacock.

Jacquemus, Zimmermann, Christian Siriano, Givenchy
The dramatic eye of a feather, iridescent color and extravagant texture make it a beautiful alternative to the usual animal print.
Leather Textured Leather

Akris, Chanel, Proenza Schouler, Khaite, Hermes
Texture is everything this season. So leather gets a serious upgrade. Think eel leather, croc embossing, ostrich textures and anything that gives the surface dimension and character.
It’s the same idea we’re seeing across fashion more broadly: the material itself becomes the statement.
The Marlene Dietrich Effect

Saint Laurent, Tod’s, Stella McCartney, Schiaparelli
One of Saint Laurent’s greatest inspirations, Marlene Dietrich, remains the ultimate reference for a woman who could move effortlessly between masculine tailoring and Hollywood glamour.
From the boyish suit to the ultimate 1940s fantasy of fur and lace, her influence is all about contrast.
Sharp shoulders and fluid femininity. Tailoring and sensuality. Masculine and ultra-glamorous.
It’s a combination that never really goes out of fashion.
Marlene Dietrich, a fashion icon still trending in 2026
Olive Green

Balmain, Altuzarra, Mugler, Alaia
One of my favorite colors of the season is olive green. It feels sophisticated, slightly unexpected and incredibly wearable.
It looks particularly beautiful in fluid, draped silhouettes or paired with suede for an earthy, luxurious effect.
Olive has that rare ability to feel both utilitarian and elegant.
The V-Shaped Dress

Chanel, Alaia, Jacquemus, Marine Serre
Another silhouette worth watching is the V-shaped dress, with its triangular form drawing attention toward the pelvis and accentuating the natural structure of the body.
It’s a graphic, sculptural approach to femininity; less about decoration and more about shape.
The Artsy Scarf Print

Tod’s, Zimmermann, Altuzarra, Proenza Schouler
For those who prefer their fashion with a little more personality, artsy scarf prints are an easy way to make an impact.
Think painterly motifs, swirling compositions and prints that look almost like fragments of a vintage silk scarf.
Worn as a dress, skirt or blouse, the effect is artistic rather than simply decorative.
And Something More Classic…

Chloe, Chanel, Celine, Vivienne Westwood
If all of this feels a little too wild, there is always the timeless answer: plaid!
A classic plaid instantly brings structure, heritage and keeps the silhouette polished.
Because ultimately, the best wardrobes have room for both extremes: the wild and the classic, the tactile and the tailored, the dramatic and the understated.
And this season, there’s plenty of fun to be had somewhere in between.
