Last week, I attended the New York fashion week to see the SS20 collection of talented designers. It was the perfect occasion to transition my outfits from Summer to fall and to showcase the pieces that will become my fall wardrobe staples. I got most of my looks on Farfetch, Italist, and Milk Boutique (based in Los Angeles).
#Withfarfetch – The Jacquemus Pink Jacket from Farfetch
I love Farfetch, as you have access to the best international concept stores. At Farfetch, the emerging and luxury designers selection is thorough! Also, I was able to wear some of my favorite Bottega Veneta mules which are always sold out but, they were available at Farfetch. Besides, I was so inspired by a pink Jacquemus jacket from Farfetch that I styled it in two different looks! See below the outfits. Pictures by George Elder.
First look #withfarfetch
For this look, I styled the Jacquemus cape detail shirt as a jacket which I paired with the Jacquemus orange pitchoun coin purse and a long stripe shirt from Sies Marjan. You can wear biker shorts under the shirt to be more comfortable. I completed the look with the Intrecciato mules from Bottega Veneta.
Second look #withfarfetch
For this look, I styled the Jacquemus cape detail shirt as a jacket which I paired with the faux-leather Sharma sleeveless Nanushka dress and the mini logo crossbody bag from JW Anderson. I completed the look with the Intrecciato mules from Bottega Veneta. This look made it to the amazing blog: Man Repeller.
Shades of brown
For this look, I styled the Nanushka Ana tie-front jumpsuit (which I got thanks to Italist) with the hayden hat from Janessa Leone (which I got thanks to Milk Boutique), the taupe Olivia box bag by Rejina Pyo, sunglasses by Saint Laurent. I completed the looks with some croc shoes: for the morning I wore this look with my Dear Frances sandals and in the afternoon with my Corsa boots from M.Gemi. This look was comfy and trendy as it was published in several outlets: Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Fashionista, and Fashion Magazine. Pictures by @Stripescollide.
The Leather trench coat
For this outfit, I was inspired by the movie “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood”. Indeed, I wanted to wear a light brown leather trench coat. Luckily, I found a beautiful 70’s vintage-inspired trench coat at Theory! I paired it with the Theory cropped tailored trousers and top, my Alhem sunglasses, and my M.Gemi corsa ankle boots. This look was published in Elle France. Pictures via @Lauralbouy.
The bermuda shorts with square toe mules
In my previous blog post, I introduced you to the next SS20 resort trend: the combination of the bermuda shorts with the square toe sandals. I tried this trend during New York Fashion Week as it was perfect to transition from summer to fall. I wore a Tibi bermuda shorts, Ganni metallic jersey top and Janessa Leone hat from Milk Boutique, St. John belt, Altaire phone box bag and Dear Frances square toe sandals. This look was featured in L’Officiel Belgique. Pictures by @Stripescollide.

Julia, your style is the best! I loved all your NYFW outfits but I’ve got to say that I am obsessed with that Nanushka number! So chic!
Thanks Delia! So obsessed with everything from Nanushka
The leather looks near the end are definitely my favorites. That brown jumpsuit is amazing! But really, leather or not, you rock everything. Great style diary!
Thanks
Im going to need that hat ASAP
I love love love the color on you in that first outfit. I think I’m mostly used to seeing you in neutral tones, but that ensemble has so many pops of brightness and it’s super fun! But as far as neutrals go, that fourth look is also divine. You’ve got such incredible style!
I love your sense of style! Always looking on point. That pink jacket is so beautiful!! I need it.
I am obsessing over animal print this fall! This is one of my favorite seasonal trends 🙂
