What I will wear to watch The Devil Wears Prada 2

Locked inside the Prada flagship in Milan, I found the perfect excuse to create my dream outfit for The Devil Wears Prada 2. During Milan Fashion Week, the incredible Prada team invited a group of stylists and influencers into the iconic store inside Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, an experience reserved just for us. A dream for every tastemaker.

Opened in 1913 by Mario Prada, this location remains the house’s original flagship, still anchored in its heritage, yet entirely relevant.

The store was, for all intents and purposes, ours. A dedicated team, an uninterrupted space, and that particular kind of attention that makes decision-making feel almost inevitable.

Earlier that evening, we had stopped at Pasticceria Marchesi, as one does. Perfectly executed pastas and pastries. A reminder that taste, real taste, is rarely accidental. The Prada Group preserved it for a reason.

Back inside Prada, the collection revealed itself without urgency. It never insists, which is precisely why it works.

The jackets were, predictably, excellent. Structured, but not restrictive. The kind of pieces that suggest authority without ever needing to announce it. I wanted to try all of them, which is usually a sign.

The shoes and accessories followed the same logic. Worn leathers, softened finishes, pieces that feel as though they’ve already lived a life. There’s a confidence in that, no need for perfection when character will do.

And then, of course, there was one piece: A cow-print ponyhair bag.
The last one available.

Not dramatic, despite what it sounds like. A soft brown shade, like a chocolate “grand cru” that grounds the white, turning it into something unexpectedly neutral. Which makes it, (in fashion terms), entirely justifiable.

I also found myself drawn to a brushstroke-print skirt. Clean, precise, but with just enough movement to keep it interesting. With the return of the pencil silhouette, it feels less like a trend and more like the perfect wardrobe addition.

The eyewear, as always, was convincing. Prada understands balance better than most. And this particular pair, in a soft light brown, worked exactly as intended. Nothing excessive, nothing missing.

So no, I wasn’t actually locked inside… but that’s the story I told my accountant to justify the purchase 😉
