I love NYFW as the designers are very diverse, and the collections are different from one another. There are also more diversities on the NY runways than in Europe. This season, Area Fall 2020 collection was mind-blowing. Whereas Longchamp created edgier silhouettes, and Brock Collection went on a more minimal vibe. Bevza attracted all the NY fashionistas. Sally La Pointe offered a perfect tailoring and glamazon silhouettes. I also attended Veronica Beard’s show, which was really special as the brand was celebrating its ten year anniversary!
Regarding street style, NYC was warmer this season compared to the previous one. It was the occasion to transition for Spring and to wear cool jackets and trenches.
NYFW Fall 2020 favorite looks seen on the runway
New York Fashion Week Street Style:
Favorite outfits to transition for Spring.
Most of my looks were inspired by the Spring 2020 trends (see this article to read more about SS20 trends).
New York Fashion Week Street Style Fall 2020 – Checks
Plaids and checks are a staple of our closet. I felt in love with the Staud clothing Cece coat and pants in dark plaids. Caramel hues are one of the biggest trends of Spring 2020. I love the fact that this plaid mixies dark colors and luminous caramel color. This outfit is perfect to transition to Spring and has a seventies-inspired look.
Outfit details: Staud Clothing Cece coat, Moon pants & Moon Bag / Dear Frances ankle boots / Chanel sunglasses.
For Spring, I also love to wear pastel checks print. I am obsessed with this beautiful cape shirt and body from Silvia Tcherassi from Farfetch.
Outfit details via Farfetch: Silvia Tcherassi cape shirt and body / 3.1 Philipp Lim Odita Bag / Goossens Scorpio necklace and Talisman / J.Brand Selena white jeans  / Nicholas Kirkwood Jazzelle Ankle Boots.
NYFW Matrix Vibes – 90s’ aesthetic
Black (faux) leather is a big trend this Spring as well as monochrome and duo-chrome. I created a graphic silhouette by wearing my black faux leather trench with white denim jeans and an Italian bicolor bag.
Outfit details: Apparis coat / Giaquinto bag / J.Brand Selena white jeans / Nicholas Kirkwood Jazzelle Ankle Boots.
NYFW Duochrome and logo tights
For the Bevza show, I wanted to wear a minimal graphic silhouette wearing a bold blazer from Bezva. I love this blazer as you can see the form of an open bodysuit. I styled it with my allover moon logo tights from Marine Serre. Logo tights are a huge trend this Spring 2020 as well as mixing white and black for a graphic silhouette. This look was featured in Elle Uk and Refinery 29.
Outfit details: Bevza coat / Chanel sunglasses / Missoma Coterie Necklace / Missoma Double chains necklace / Marine Serre tights / Nicholas Kirkwood Jazzelle Ankle Boots / Giaquinto bag.
NYFW Street Style: Edgy Lady
I love this floral dress from MiuMiu, which I found at Farfetch. I styled it with a faux leather shirt from Nanushka for a warmer and edgier look. This ladylike Marc Jacobs bag has the smoothest leather, and the style is very minimal with a vintage and tomboy touch. This look was featured in Gracia Italy.Â
Outfit details via Farfetch: MiuMiu silk gabardine dress / Nanushka Faux leather shirt / The Marc Jacobs bag / Chanel sunglasses / Nicholas Kirkwood Jazzelle Ankle Boots.
NYFW City drawler
I wore my Longchamp bags on repeat during fashion week. I love to pair the Nano Pliage bag with my Amazone Longchamp bag. The Pliage is an iconic piece of Longchamp, and I love to wear it its micro version like a jewel.
Outfit details: Longchamp Amazone shoulder bag /Â Longchamp Nano Pliage bag / Trave denim pants / Anine Bing Liza Jacket /Â Brinker & Eliza show stopper necklace / Chanel sunglasses.
I love to style the nano bag by pinning it to the handle of my Amazone crossbody bag or at the waist of my dress.
Outfit details via Farfetch: MiuMiu silk gabardine dress / Nanushka Faux leather shirt / Longchamp Nano Pliage bag / Saint Laurent sunglasses.
NYFW Street Style: Caramel the Spring neutral
If there is one hue to wear on repeat this season: it is caramel!
Outfit details: Dorothee Schumacher shirt fall 2020 and pre-fall 2020 pants / Dear Frances ankle boots / Brinker & Eliza show stopper necklace / Missoma Coterie Necklace / Missoma Double chains necklace / Ferragamo sunglasses.
NYFW Royalty stepping out
I attended one of my favorite NY brands: Brock Collection. Brock Collection is very well known for its sumptuous fabrics that have a royalty feel. I paired this Brock Collection peplum blazer with denim jeans and aviator sunglasses.
Outfit details: Brock Collection blazer / Brock Collection denim pants / Missoma Coterie Necklace / Missoma Double chains necklace / Nicholas Kirkwood monstera green pumps / Ferragamo sunglasses.

You have such a great sense of style! I love the looks. And to be snapped by Getty is something, too. Such a fun collection of inspiration!
Wow! Your style is so cool and I’m just loving your looks…and your photos! Can’t decide which one I like more. Not surprised you got snapped by Getty!
I’ve gotta say, my favorite looks on you are definitely the 90’s Matrix vibes one and the royalty stepping out. In fact, the royalty stepping out look is possibly my favorite look you’ve ever put together. Talk about CHIC! These looks are such great translations of what you saw on the runway.
These are very vogue pieces! It’s great you were able to snag some of these trends and pieces from NYFW 2020. The pieces are a unique transition into Spring wardrobe and not super traditional, which is awesome.
