2019 was the end of an area in the fashion world. On February 19, 2019, one of the most prolific and talented designers: Karl Lagerfeld, passed away in Paris at the age of 85. He was behind the rebirth and success of the iconic luxury fashion house Chanel by styling high fashion with street style pieces or by incorporating some quirky elements to a classic silhouette. On December 2019, Vogue has recently paid tribute to Karl by releasing some of his iconic ’90s Chanel runway shows. I selected my favorite ’90s looks which resonate with today’s fashion trends.

This is such a fun throwback! And so amazing to see all of those models young once again. Such great classics!
Chanel in the 90’s was a whole VIBE. I love those first few looks more than anything. They’re gorgeous and timeless. Karl was a true fashion genius and his creativity will be dearly missed. I love this tribute!
Wow…crazy how some fashion trends have come full-circle. This was so neat.
Lagerfeld is a legend– very cool to browse through all these looks!
So many classic pieces! Tweed Chanel has always been my favorite
YES!!! 90’s fashion might truly be my FAVORITE!!! Also- that 1992 Channel look though! LOVING the floral and the Spanish-like vibes! So on point! I’ve always been so intrigued with the creativity and thought that goes into fashion. The way it transcends time, re-surfaces, and tells a story is EACH so inspiring. These captures are beautiful! So much amazing diversity!
