Last night, in the iconic Bungalows of the Chateau Marmont, I had the pleasure of attending an unforgettable evening with Jimmy Choo. The brand was celebrating its Archive Collection—a revival of legendary styles from 1997 to 2001, including three heels immortalized by Sex and the City (SATC).
The teenage girl in me contained her excitement in this fashion heaven. Think early 2000s glamour, velvet sofas, flickering candlelight, and a crowd “chaussée” in their finest heels, all gathered to toast some of the most iconic footwear ever designed.

These Shoes, Icons.
Jimmy Choo’s archive drop isn’t just about nostalgia—it’s about reclaiming that bold, unapologetic femininity we all fell in love with back then. The spotlight shone on three unforgettable styles, each with its own screen-worthy backstory.
The Lilac Sandal
This dreamy heel became an instant icon when Carrie Bradshaw lost it on the steps at a political fundraiser on Staten Island. Her line—“I lost my Choo!”—is still quoted by fashion lovers everywhere. Delicate, whimsical, and packed with attitude, this shoe is the embodiment of Y2K Carrie energy. Some remaining stocks here, here.
The Leopard Sandal
You know this one. It’s the flirty, fierce pair featured in the opening credits of Sex and the City—yes, that moment when Carrie is splashed by a bus while strutting through NYC. The leopard print gives off pure main-character energy and was the conversation piece of the evening. Almost out of stock, find it also here.
The Snakeskin Boots
Sharp, seductive, and already almost sold out, these high-shine boots made quite the entrance—just like everyone who wore them to the party. If you’re even thinking about them, don’t wait. They’re going fast, and for good reason: they’re both statement and staple. Remaining stocks here and here.
The Bow: the ones that stole my heart.
A chic and playful celebration of texture and pattern, this distinctive pump is defined by its namesake knot detail. Feminine, sculptural, and endlessly wearable—the Bow is proof that archival doesn’t mean ordinary. Remaining stocks here (fits true to size).

The venue couldn’t have been more fitting. The Chateau Marmont, with its old Hollywood glamour and secret-garden allure, offered the perfect backdrop for celebrating fashion that lives on through pop culture, memory, and craftsmanship.
RSVP-worthy Style
The takeaway? 90s and early 2000s fashion is more relevant than ever. But instead of replicating the past, Jimmy Choo is reintroducing these styles with fresh energy, reminding us why we fell in love with them in the first place.
If you’re a SATC fan, a vintage luxury lover, or simply someone who appreciates a great shoe story—this archive collection is your moment.
Shop the collection (before it disappears like a Choo on Staten Island).
And let me know: which pair is your fav?
A bientôt,
