I love wearing black in Winter (the French inside me) but to master the black outfit, I like to add textures like fringes or laces. When I saw this amazing detacheable fringe blazer from Tuc + Wes, the new label of Orly Shani, it was love at first sight.
Tuc + Wes an emerging edgy apparel line
Last October, I went to the Power Your Happy book launch party wrote by the inspiring Lisa Sugar, founder of Pop Sugar. Lisa Sugar is an amazing and inspiring woman and she was explaining how you can build a career (an empire) that makes you happy. I strongly recommend her book.
The event was amazing, full of inspiring women. Among them, the beautiful designer Orly Shani was monitoring the panel discussion.
Orly Shani just launched a new clothing line: Tuc + Wes. A one of a kind label revisiting classic pieces with the edgy Los Angeles touch. Check-out the Tuc + Wes’s blazers, bombers and Tee-Shirts, they really deserved to be known.
The fringed blazer: A statement piece
After attending the Pop Sugar event, I felt so inspired by the style of Orly Shani. I saw her fringed blazer and it was love at first sight! With the fringes, this classic blazer becomes a rock-chic uniform. Furthermore, this jacket is very versatile, as you can remove the fringes. It should be noted, that it is very easy to pull the fringes off and put them back. As it is a long blazer, you can wear it with leggings, or a nice short dress, mini skirt or shorts.
Regarding sizing, I order a size small, I am usually between two sizes: extra-small or small, and it fits perfectly.
Featuring velvet: This season must-have fabric
Velvet is this season must-have fabric. I choose to wear it with a green velvet top, for an effortless chic touch: it is subtile and goes perfectly with black.
This fringed blazer will also be perfect with silver leggings or a silver coated skirt.
I am definitely obsessed by this blazer, I would love to know your opinions about this new new brand.
